About this print
Tourists queuing up for a ride on London’s famous big wheel. It is part of Mostly Vernissages, the series that I started as a result of a stay in New York and my journey through its art galleries and museums in 2019.
About the Mostly Vernissages series
It was winter and the visitors, most of them dark dressed, moved through those spaces of impressive dimensions that are the art galleries in New York, grouping themselves in black spots that I found very suggestive.
These human amalgams were very useful to explore the omission and limits in drawing, which interests me the most at this moment.
I have continued looking for material for my drawings, and my sources are mostly Instagram stories or posts, generally reports of art exhibitions’ openings.
