It is one of the images that emerged from <\/span>Caminantes de Sloane<\/span>, a series linked to my discovery of animation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

About the Caminantes de Sloane series<\/strong><\/p>\n

The day I found that only eight looped drawings were enough to create the illusion of the human step, I fell for that magic. From there and for a while, I couldn\u2019t stop making gifs of different people walking endlessly.\nThen I aspired to a little more and dared with a choral scene. For this I based myself on a moment in the middle of the <\/span>London<\/span><\/i> rush hour in which three very different women cross their paths. Here things got a bit complicated. Eight or 24 pictures were no longer enough: 80 were needed. And all this to obtain <\/span>Caminantes de Sloane<\/span>, a motion picture that was fine\u2026but lasted only seven seconds.<\/span><\/p>\n

When I had recovered a bit from this disappointment, I discovered excited that the piece had nevertheless left me a surprise gift: a lot of frames waiting for me to start a new game. I dedicated myself to superimposing, framing and combining them digitally and from there a new work emerged, now static.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
